We do not sell Childrens Costumes online, we only sell them from our Paignton Based Store at 4 Torbay Road, Paignton. Over the past few years we have seen the demand for childrens costumes throughout the year fall dramatically, and as a result the costumes that we can still get hold of are either not suitable or too expensive to justify for a Childrens Costume. Our Range is unfortunatly rather limited and quite often never in Line with a lot of the crazy ideas schools seem to come up with these days. We will of course be more than happy to give advice or suggestions if you would like it, but please note the limitations we have are enforced on us by Suppliers and increased competition from Supermarkets selling costumes cheaper than we can buy them. At Present we do not as such Stock XL costumes. We tried a range a couple of years ago but it never took off. However we do always say that the sizes we list with our costumes are a guideline. Where something is listed as a Large costume in either the Male or the Female Section then the measurements are guidelines and they will vary depending on the fit of the Costume. The general rule is that if the costume is a fitted or tight costume it is going to be quite close to the guideline sizes. Where something is more looser fitting and designed to be baggy the costume will obvioulsy be bigger than the suggested guideline sizes. If in any doubt about any particular costume please give us a ring and we will be happy to provide you with a better answer in relation to that particular costume.
If you have purchased something from our Online Store and would like to return it please get in touch with us first. When you recieve your order you should have had a full description of the process of return. If you have lost this please get in touch with us and we will guide you through the process. Please note that refunds processed on your card may take up to 3 days to appear back in your account, this is due to the card processing company and not to do with us. Your Refund will be processed as soon as we receive the goods back in our possesion, we suggest you send them back with at least a signature required delivery to reduce the risk of it being lost in Transit.
Once you have placed an order and paid via our Online Ordering System you should receive 2 e-mails confirming this, one for the order and one for the Card Details. Once we have received and processed your order we will send you a further e-mail letting you know the parcel has been dispatched. Unless otherwise stated all parcels are sent 1st Class, so if all goes to plan the delivery should be with you the next working Day. This is down to Royal Mail though, and even though it is 1st Class these days that is not a guarenteed delivery. If you would like a Special Delivery that is guarenteed please contact us after placing your order. If after 3 working Days you have still not received your order please contact us so we can track the parcel and find out what has happened to it. Please note all parcels will require a signature and if this cannot be obtained the parel will be returned to your local Post Office for collection.
We do sell a huge range of Wigs and Tights, however at present they are only available to buy instore. Our website will list the full range of what we have available and if you are coming for a particular item please phone us first so we can make sure we have what you need. We do not sell these items online for the simple fact that we insist all these items are new and un-used. A set of regualtions called the Distance Selling regulations states that any item of clothing sold online can be returned even if worn, believe it or not this does not exclude tights or underwear. As a matter of Hygeiene we cannot re-sell these items if they are sold online and returned, so as a result we do not sell these items online. We apologise for this, but hope you can understand.
Thank you if you have been in to one of our stores and bought something. You still have the right to return that item provided you do so in accordance with our Selling regulations advertised in store. Any Costume purchased must be returned within a 3 day period of purchase, and with all original packaging and till receipt. A Till receipt is automatically issued with every costume sale, please do not say I did not get a receipt. If you are returning a costume you will only be entitled to an exchange or a 12 month Store Credit, and not a refund. All returned items must be complete, un-used and in a re-saleable condition. If these criteria are not met we reserve the right to refuse to accept the returned items. Items returned as faulty must come back with all relevant packaging and a till receipt where applicable, and we must be happy that the item has a manufacture fault and not a fault that has been caused by yourself. If an exchange is not possible a refund or Credit Note will be issued.
While you may feel this is a reasonable question to ask, it is one that we find offensive. Our Items are all sold online at prices either below or at the RRP. We understand that in todays growing Online market place prices are often cheaper online than they are instore, but this is inevitable. Online Stores do not have as many over heads as Retail Outlets, things such as Rent, Wages, Utility Bills and Business Rates all contribute to us having a higher price than an Online Store. We sell everything Online at the same price as in our Retail Stores (except Special Online Only Offers) for the simple reason we would much rather serve you Face to Face and give you honest, experienced and reliable advice. At Busy periods you may find that our phone line is consitently Engaged. This is due to our Card Processing machine working off our Phone Line. We do find that at busy periods this can tie up the phone line constantly and make it impossible to get through. If you experience this problem please try e-mailing us instead of consistently ringing, as you will not get through and it will just slow up the transaction process in store. We apologise for this experience, it is however a rare one !
